Mahesh is a Fabulous Actor says Ileana

Superstar Maheshbabu and Ileana's blockbuster Film Pokiri. This film set records for a Telugu film in all territories. It placed 5th against other south Indian grossers only behind Rajini, Kamal, and Shankar films. Pokiri held the 7th biggest domestic net in India at the year of its release. Distributor share wise, Pokiri had the 4th highest domestic distributor share of 2006.


Mahesh and Ileana chemistry were very well worked out and the scenes on the screen were brilliant. Apart from this film, Ileana Craze has doubled and made it to Bollywood. About Pokiri, Ileana revealed his working experience with Mahesh as part of Amar Akbar Anthony's promotion.


"I was in a lot of concern at that time. So in a stage I thought I should not do the film too. But Mahesh Babu's sister Manjula made phone. It is a very good story and says that making the film is very useful for my career. I did it. You know how big the film was. Pokiri has torn my career".
